My best friend and I got exceptionally drunk when we were 26. She turned to me and said, listen, if we’re both unmarried and childless at 35, will you have a baby with me? I said yes, not so much because I wanted a child but because I loved my friend that much. Ten years later, she is married with two kids, and I sold a pilot based on our inebriated plans.
