After I sold PLAN B, I decided to blow (most) of my pilot sale money on a trip to Italy. While I was there, my purse was stolen in Milan. Then, I got an email from some dude whose business card I’d been given in Rome — the Milanese police had found my purse and if I wanted it back, he could take me on a road trip to get it back. I did not want to go to the DMV in LA to replace my driver’s license so, we did take the road trip, but we did not fall in love. I wrote a movie where we did.
